I've run out of inspiration for a line as opener. I think I'll just say "Hello."
The chapter begins with a perfect example of how trolls work. They just post stupid and hurtful things online and now they're disrupting Mashiro and Azuki's dream! While Takagi goes apeshit over all this (serisouly, he's freaking out lol), Mashiro has no fucks to give. Blablabla, Hattori still has faith in Azuki's role in Reversi.
Then we see Azuki vs Ririka and Azuki is surpringly chatty. Of course, we already knew that Ririka didn't have the intention to crush Azuki, but she still looked so freakin' cute when she had tears in her eyes.
Blablabla and then the animation company comes over (if anyone knows what the name of the company is, let me know please, we'll…Read more >
So, I have been apart of this wiki for a while now and recently when I began to edit more consistently here, there have been some things that I have wanted to do, but have been unable to do due to not being an admin. Now when this is occurred, I went to the main admin's talk page Cococrash11 and asked to be given admin rights. It was only a while later that I realised that Cococrash11 hasn't made any edits to the wiki since October last year and all requests on his talk page since then have gone unanswered. I thought he was and still believe he is still active, but for one reason or another he has abandoned this wiki. If follow this link: http://bakuman.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&group=sysop you will see the list of admins…Read more >
New week, new chapter. As promised, new blog x)
It starts off with Shujin quickly figuring out that Miho and Saiko's relation was in danger of being found out. I could understand Ishizawa being an otaku and finding that out, but that Shujin has knowledge in seiyū's, blogs and forums really surprised me. Also, how the hell can you find that particular forum that fast? The internet is huuuuge and Shujin can find it with just a few clicks. I've figured it out... SHUJIN IS AN OTAKU.
Eh, eventually, they contacted their assistant, who reached what's-her-name and got the post deleted. At first, I didn't quite get what the problem was with their relationship being found out (see my previous post), but Shujin's explanation made it clear to me and TH…Read more >
It's been a long time, right! Well, I'm finally back at the Bakuman Wiki, writing another post (not that anyone's interested but I enjoy it, so shut up!) on the latest chapter.
First things first, thanks you Red Hawk Scans for the marvelous release! I've never heard of that group, but you're doing a good job, so keep it up! Well, this chapter was rewarded with an awesome full colored cover page (both on the WSJ AND the real chapter). We have a little sneak peak at what the Reversi anime would look like, so that's awesome. The colored chapter cover page is what is to be expected by Takeshi Obata, stylish as usual. Plus, Azuki gets a little screen time in the beginning, being cute as always :3. I think it's really cute how she's practicing th…Read more >
Sorry I've been long for some time (damn, I missed 2 chapters), but here is my new blog for chapter 149. Unique Flavor and Theme!
We had to wait some time for this chapter, about a week after the other Shōnen Jump series were released, but the quality of this chapter was exceptionally high (if you didn't notice, than you don't know anything of scanlation).
On the chapter. We get our weekly doses of Bakuman. comedy, with our favorite comic-relief pair: Shujin and Kaya. Some blablabla and Shujin suddenly has an epiphany. And apparently, Kaya is really on the ball (?). We go on to Hattori and Azuma, who we learn that he's actually really sensitive. Hattori is as enthusiastic as always, that cheers everyone up, right? And yet again, we get a conf…Read more >

Oh and Nanamine is an asshole.
Yo! I'm back with yet another chapter. I'm not really feeling well today and I really don't feel like writing a blog about this chapter, but I guess I have to...
On to the chapter! I kinda liked it. Like I said above, in my current state I don't feel like going too much into it, but yeah. Absolutely no humor (except Hattori's epic face) in this and the last chapters, I really crave some humor right now in Bakuman, like in the old days. I really, really thought Nanamine's comparison with a film director was handy, it made his explanation a lot easier. Ashirogi Muto being the dogs of the Jump editors was a little too much… I mean, we have seen what an amazing editor Hattori is and without him, Ashirogi wouldn't have come as far as they are no…Read more >
Bam!! After a two week wait, finally another chapter of Bakuman. And what a chapter it was.
The fact that Panty Flash Fight and that other one got 1st and 2nd place was actually pretty predictable. But then Nanamine called Shujin... HUH? I totally didn't expect that!! Who could've known that Nanamine, thàt Nanamine, will put himself in the open like that. He says something about repenting for his actions, that's bullshit. Forgive my language, but it's bullshit. Nanamine don't repent, Nanamine don't feel soory, Nanamine don't care! Anyway, he wants to show Ashirogi something.
And then we get a Nanamine flashback. Hooray! Finally, we get to see how he became so twisted. It all began in his childhood, when he read Money and Intelligence from As…Read more >
God dammit Nanamine! You never learn do you?! I'm kinda dissappointed to see him back, it feels like they're recycling the same antagonist (get it? recycling?). It would have been much more refreshing if we got to see another antagonist. It's entirely the same like last time, but now he doesn't put himself in the open and he gathers his slaves in person. And then he hires some ugly manager with a bad haircut... I don't like him. Nothing really happened in this chapter, only the revelation what everyone was thinking: one mastermind writer behind all the veteran artists. I didn't expect it to be so big however, I kinda pictured it that the writer would have a shabby, dark office and that he would be like a dealer, selling stories for a perce…Read more >
The recent chapters were very interesting, so I thought it's more than worth it to write a short blog about.
Recently, a lot of old authors with regular drawing skills have appeared, but all with the same appealing story. I mean, it's pretty obvious that there is some genius writer behind the scenes. he's the one that first Azuma-sensei was going to and now Arai-sensei and all the others. My first thought would be that it's Nanamine, but that would be too fast, he just disappeared, for him to re-appear now would be too useless. Eiji is certainly out of the question, since he wouldn't even think about doing something like that. It's just... weird. I'm thinking of something like a secret cult where you get a storyboard from the genius writer,…Read more >
Apparently...I went and edited most of the characters' articles. >.>;; Once I start, it's hard to stop...so maybe I'll leave it for now. Besides, the Japanese wiki page for Bakuman won't go anywhere xD
(Although, it lacks Nanamine and Kosugi in the character list on their wiki page...it might take awhile for them to come out now though...after what's happened in Japan ; A;) Hope everything is fine and everyone's safe. (although it's highly unlikely)Read more >
I just went through the wiki and organized most of the characters pages more by adding a "Summary" title, and having all the arcs they were involved in as sub-headings under that. Some of the articles already had a "Bakuman" title, so I just changed that over to Summary for continuity. I'm wondering if this is a fine way of organization for people? I think this way just makes the page easier to read. But if people don't like it it can be changed/altered.
Please let me know your opinion, even if you're not a very active editor.
